Job summary

Swift Software seeks a senior network security engineer to design and deploy enterprise firewall solutions, lead automation efforts, and mentor a team. You will manage policies, NATs, and security profiles while coordinating with cross-functional teams to ensure secure, scalable deployments.

Remote and onsite hybrid work is expected, with weekend/on-call rotations to maintain mission-critical systems. Strong English communication is required for global collaboration.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in CS or related field with 10+ years of relevant experience.
• Hands-on with Fortinet, Palo Alto or Check Point firewalls.
• Strong knowledge of large-scale network design and security architectures.
• Automation scripting in Python and IaC concepts with API integrations.

Responsibilities

• Lead automation design, configuration, and deployment of enterprise-grade firewall solutions.
• Develop and maintain firewall policies, NAT rules, and security profiles.
• Mentor a team of network security engineers and drive continuous improvement.
• Oversee incident troubleshooting for complex firewall-related issues.
• Monitor performance with tools like Splunk, SevOne, and Wireshark.
