Job summary

Swift seeks an experienced Network Security Engineer to design, implement, and operate Fortinet and Checkpoint Firewalls in a DevOps environment. You will work with squads to deploy infrastructure, automate tasks, and document solutions.

This mission-critical role requires strong scripting, Linux, and security policy management skills. You will collaborate across teams, provide technical leadership, and contribute to firewall roadmap and improvements while maintaining high security standards

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in computer science or related field or equivalent work experience.
• 8–10 years in a technical operational support area.
• Hands-on experience with Fortinet and Checkpoint Firewalls or similar technologies.
• Hands-on experience with Firewall management platforms Forti Manager, Forti Analyzer, Checkpoint Smart-1.
• Familiarity with security policy management tools like Algosec Security Management System.
• Familiarity with SD-WAN and Zero Trust.
• Capable of scripting in Shell, Ansible, Python or Perl.
• Familiarity with Ansible automation platform to automate tasks.
• Familiarity with source code repositories like Git/Bitbucket.
• Autonomous, customer oriented and solutions driven with collaboration mindset.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, test, configure, upgrade, and maintain Fortinet and Checkpoint Firewalls.
• Deploy infrastructure and network software according to change management processes.
• Collaborate with internal and external customers following DevOps/Agile principles.
• Develop and maintain technical documentation.
• Interact with internal teams to ensure customer satisfaction.
• Lead network architecture design and drive implementation.
