Job summary

Swift is seeking a Senior Network Security Engineer to design and deploy enterprise-grade firewall solutions, protecting mission-critical data and enabling secure operations. The role emphasizes automation, policy management, and cross-functional collaboration to strengthen the organization’s security posture.

You will mentor engineers, manage complex incidents, and participate in weekend/on-call rotations, with a hybrid work model requiring 2 days onsite and up to 3 days remote per week.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science or related field.
• 10+ years of solid work experience.
• Hands-on expertise with firewall platforms (Fortinet, Palo Alto, Check Point).
• Strong knowledge of network architecture, protocols, and large-scale system design.
• Experience with automation/scripting (Python, Ansible, Bash) and APIs for firewall management.
• Experience supporting Linux platforms.
• Ability to mentor a team of network security engineers.

Responsibilities

• Lead automation design, configuration, and deployment of enterprise-grade high-availability firewall solutions.
• Develop, implement, and maintain firewall policies, security profiles, NAT rules, and application controls.
• Oversee troubleshooting and resolution of complex firewall incidents and performance bottlenecks.
• Monitor firewall performance using tools (e.g., SevOne, WireShark, SMARTS, Splunk).
• Collaborate with Enterprise network, Data Center, SOC, Security, and Operations teams to align firewalls with broader infrastructure.
• Provide technical direction and mentor junior engineers.
