Job summary

Swift is seeking an experienced Network Security Engineer to design, deploy and manage Fortinet and Checkpoint firewalls within a DevOps/Agile framework. You will collaborate across teams, automate, and document configurations while ensuring customer satisfaction.

The role offers flexible onsite work (2 days onsite, 3 days remote) in a mission critical environment with weekend deployments and on-call rotation. A strong background in security and network operations is essential.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in computer science or related field or equivalent work experience.
• 8–10 years of experience in a technical operational support area.
• Hands-on experience with Fortinet and Checkpoint Firewalls or similar technologies.
• Familiarity with firewall management platforms and security tools.
• Knowledge of SD-WAN and Zero Trust concepts.
• Experience troubleshooting complex network flows and configurations.
• Proficiency in scripting (Shell, Python or Perl) and automation (Ansible).

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, test, configure, upgrade, and maintain Fortinet and Checkpoint Firewalls with virtual instances.
• Collaborate with team to implement and operate solutions.
• Deploy infrastructure and network software following change management processes.
• Collaborate with internal and external customers using DevOps/Agile methodologies.
• Develop and maintain technical documentation.
• Interact with internal teams to ensure customer satisfaction.
• Automate tasks and pursue continuous improvement; share knowledge transparently.
• Opportunity to grow in a true DevOps agile environment.
• Work pattern: min 2 days onsite, max 3 days from home per week.
• Participate in weekend deployments and on-call rotation.
