Zusammenfassung

Venteon is seeking a Network Engineer in Detroit, MI to administer, secure, and improve the organization’s IT infrastructure, including network, servers, storage, virtualization, cloud, cybersecurity, backup/recovery, identity and access, and telecommunications.

You will design, implement, and support enterprise network and data-center infrastructure, manage LAN/WAN, VPN, firewall, Windows Server AD DNS DHCP, monitor performance, and participate in disaster recovery and vendor coordination.

Qualifikationen

• Bachelor's degree in IT or related field or equivalent experience/certifications.
• 5+ years enterprise IT experience with strong network, server, virtualization, storage, and cybersecurity experience.
• Strong troubleshooting, root-cause analysis, communication, documentation, and problem-solving skills.
• Experience supporting regulated environments and security/compliance requirements preferred.

Aufgaben

• Design, implement, administer, and support enterprise network, server, storage, virtualization, cloud, and data center infrastructure.
• Manage LAN/WAN, VPN, wireless, routing, switching, VLANs, firewalls, and network security.
• Administer Windows Server, Active Directory, DNS, DHCP, authentication, and related infrastructure services.
• Monitor system performance, availability, capacity, and security; troubleshoot complex infrastructure and connectivity issues.
• Manage backups, disaster recovery, system restoration, and business continuity activities.
• Support cybersecurity initiatives including vulnerability management, patching, EDR, MFA, access controls, system hardening, and security monitoring.
• Participate in security assessments, penetration testing, audits, and HIPAA compliance activities.
• Administer and support Mitel telecommunications and voice infrastructure.
• Serve as an advanced technical escalation resource and perform root-cause analysis for complex issues.
• Provide technical guidance and mentoring to Help Desk and IT staff.
• Coordinate with vendors, service providers, and technology partners.
• Maintain technical documentation, network diagrams, configurations, and recovery procedures.
• Participate in infrastructure upgrades, migrations, lifecycle management, and technology projects.
