Job summary

Fessler & Bowman Inc. seeks an experienced IT professional to serve as the technical backbone for our IT infrastructure across multiple offices in Michigan.

You will manage network connections, cloud services (Microsoft 365, Azure), security controls, and backup readiness while providing Tier 2/3 escalation support. The role emphasizes proactive monitoring, disciplined maintenance, and cross‑site reliability.

Qualifications

• 5–10 years of progressive network and systems administration
• Microsoft 365 and Azure administration experience
• Experience with enterprise endpoint management
• Proven backup administration with tested recovery
• Security operations and incident response knowledge

Responsibilities

• Install, configure, monitor, and troubleshoot enterprise network gear and connectivity across locations
• Administer Microsoft 365, Azure, on‑prem servers, storage and core enterprise platforms
• Monitor security alerts, vulnerabilities and threat activity; implement controls
• Own backup integrity, DR readiness, and proactive monitoring across environments
• Serve as Tier 2/3 escalation resource and mentor junior staff
