Job summary

SpaceXAI is seeking a seasoned Senior Network Security Engineer to join our security team. You will specialize in switching and routing within cloud-native AI infrastructure and tackle complex security issues independently.

You will lead firewall, VPN, and IDS/IPS deployments, collaborate with cross-functional teams, and ensure devices are patched and compliant across AWS, GCP, and Azure environments.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in CS, cybersecurity, or related field.
• 4+ years of network security engineering focused on switching and routing.
• Cloud platform experience (AWS, GCP, or Azure) with network security services.
• Experience with Wireshark/tcpdump and Cisco/Juniper/Palo Alto networks.
• Scripting in Python or Bash for automation.

Responsibilities

• Serve as SME in network security with firewalls, VPNs, IDS/IPS, routing protocols (e.g., BGP, OSPF) and switching technologies.
• Manage and update firewall configurations across the enterprise network.
• Deploy new firewalls, switches, routers, and network security devices.
• Develop and propose innovative network security solutions for routing and switching environments.
• Enhance security processes through documentation and change management.
• Act as the primary resolver for complex network security issues, including escalation support.
• Ensure devices are up-to-date with patches, firmware, and maintenance.
• Monitor and respond to security events in cloud environments (AWS, GCP, Azure, Datacenter).
