Job summary

SpaceX is hiring a Security Engineer to protect and drive the mission through scalable security solutions. The role focuses on behind-the-scenes technologies for networks and systems, emphasizing confidentiality, integrity, and availability.

You will implement authentication, identity lifecycle automation, and cloud security policy enforcement, while collaborating with security, IT, legal, and software teams to reduce risk across SpaceX.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in computer science or a STEM field or 2+ years of security software development experience.
• Experience designing and implementing security solutions for large-scale systems.
• Proficiency with the listed programming languages and security concepts.

Responsibilities

• Design, build, and maintain security solutions for SpaceX systems, networks, and data.
• Implement authentication, identity services, and MFA.
• Automate security processes and tooling across SpaceX.
• Maintain documentation and advise on underlying technologies.
• Work with security and IT teams to reduce risk and improve deployments.
• Collaborate with multiple teams across security, IT, legal, and software.
