Job summary

Iridium in Tempe, AZ is seeking an experienced Network Security Administrator III to manage firewall and security infrastructure. You will deploy, configure, and troubleshoot firewalls from Fortinet, Check Point, Palo Alto Networks, and Cisco, while enforcing least-privilege access and VPN connectivity.

You will collaborate with network, systems, and security teams, document procedures, and participate in change management.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in CS/IT or equivalent experience.
• 5+ years in network security or firewall administration.
• Hands-on with Fortinet/Check Point/Palo Alto/Cisco firewalls.
• Strong fundamentals: TCP/IP, routing, VPN, segmentation.
• Experience troubleshooting via firewall logs and captures.
• Excellent communication and documentation skills.

Responsibilities

• Deploy, configure, maintain, and troubleshoot enterprise firewalls.
• Manage firewall policies, NAT, zones, routing, VPN connectivity.
• Administer centralized firewall management and logging.
• Troubleshoot complex network security issues using logs and captures.
• Maintain firewall platforms via updates, backups, HA testing.
• Create and maintain network security docs and procedures.
• Participate in change-management: planning, testing, rollback.
• Support projects with new/updated security tech with other teams.
