Job summary

Iridium Satellite LLC seeks an IT Security Compliance Administrator II to support cybersecurity compliance goals and policy development. You will work with cross-functional teams to manage controls, assist with audits, and help maintain governance documentation in a hybrid work environment.

You will contribute to risk assessments, remediation tracking, and security metrics while collaborating with senior staff to align deliverables with security objectives.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Cybersecurity, Risk Management, Computer Science, or equivalent, relevant work experience.
• 2+ years' experience with information security controls, IT audits, or risk management.
• Exposure to security standards and guidelines based on best practices and industry standards.
• Familiarity with NIST CSF & 800-171, CMMC, and SOX compliance frameworks preferred.

Responsibilities

• Support cybersecurity compliance goals and development of policies, procedures, and standards.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to manage security controls and ensure compliance.
• Assist with security audits, risk analysis, and security reviews.
• Create and maintain documentation for compliance requirements.
• Support meetings to align project deliverables with security goals.
• Assist with risk assessments and remediation plans, tracking closure.
• Help develop metrics to show governance effectiveness against controls.
• Participate in project planning and project management duties.
• Suggest improvements and pursue training to maintain skills.
