Job summary

Leidos is seeking a Technical Program Support Engineer in Fort Meade, MD to provide program integration, sustainment, and management support for DISA-provided capabilities and services under the GSMO-II contract.

The role requires a BS in Engineering (or related discipline) with 12–15 years of experience (or MS with 10–13 years), strong requirements analysis, cross-functional collaboration, and excellent communication. US Secret clearance is required.

Qualifications

• BS in Engineering or related discipline; 12–15 years experience or MS with 10–13 years experience.
• May consider work experience in lieu of a degree.
• Experience performing requirements analysis.
• Experience supporting cross-functional teams.
• Self-starter with the ability to work independently and in a team.
• Strong written and oral communication skills.
• Strong customer relation skills.
• Clearance: US Secret clearance required.

Responsibilities

• Synchronize and coordinate activities with external teams; provide evaluation and feedback on coordination efforts.
• Coordinate work across internal and external stakeholder teams; document outcomes and progress.
• Maintain active coordination with project stakeholders; track dependencies and provide feedback.
• Develop troubleshooting and support-system training for network administrators and operators.
• Create quick-start guides and training materials for mission partners and end users.
• Support change management activities and participate in configuration control boards.
• Assess, prototype, and test emerging technologies for potential DISN integration.
• Plan and conduct verification and validation for deployment and operational transition.
• Identify opportunities to improve network performance and provide technical recommendations.
• Research and validate emerging technologies for program system capabilities.
• Conduct testing and validation for infrastructure deployment and transition to operations.
• Administer and sustain laboratory components at DISA Fort Meade; patching, baseline management, lifecycle support.
