Job summary

Summit Broadband in Florida is seeking a Network OSS Engineer to support the Service Activation Domain and design, develop, and implement enterprise-wide activation, provisioning, and operations applications and their OS/databases. You will participate in full life cycle of systems engineering for scalable solutions.

Qualifications

• BS or equivalent degree required.
• 10+ years of relevant experience.
• Subject matter expert across multiple platforms.
• Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
• Experience training teams and departments.
• Strong communication to executive-level customers.
• Knowledge of end-to-end service design and operations.
• Familiarity with provisioning and firmware deployment processes.

Responsibilities

• Support the Service Activation Domain and participate in design, development and implementation of activation, provisioning, and operations applications.
• Assists in operating systems and databases for CPE activation and provisioning.
• Documents configurations and upgrades, and supports change management and disaster recovery planning.
• Plan and manage multiple projects, including budgeting and staffing estimates.
• Lead engineers and technicians and liaise with Product, IT Service Delivery and Advanced Engineering.
