Job summary

Summit Broadband Inc. in Orlando, FL is seeking a Field Services Technician to join our Tech Ops team. You will install, repair, and maintain fiber, coax, and related services at customer premises while delivering high-quality service.

This role requires strong customer service, the ability to troubleshoot complex field issues, and flexibility to work after hours as needed; safety and professionalism are essential in representing Summit Broadband.

Qualifications

• Telecommunications experience required (3–5 years).
• High School Diploma or GED.
• SCTE Certification or willingness to obtain within 1 year.
• 3+ years experience with service/installation of networking & telephony lines.
• Valid driver’s license with a clean MVR.
• Able to pass background check and drug screening.
• Able to lift 75 lbs., climb ladders, and work in adverse conditions.

Responsibilities

• Install, repair, and maintain Summit Broadband products and services in field operations.
• Install and troubleshoot fiber, coax, LAN, and related networks at customer premises.
• Provide outstanding customer service and identify customer needs.
• Respond to outages and emergencies; work after hours as required.
• Maintain safety, productivity, and professionalism while in uniform.
