Job summary
Summit Broadband Inc. is seeking a Network Support Engineer to provision and maintain fiber-based services. The role provides Tier 3 troubleshooting, monitors circuits, and performs routine RCA to address outages and performance issues.

Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in CS/CE/Network Engineering or equivalent experience.
- 8+ years provisioning telecommunications systems experience.
- Expert provisioning and troubleshooting of IP routing and switching (Cisco/Juniper).
- Experience with L3 routing protocols: BGP, OSPF, IS-IS.
- SME in Metro Ethernet devices and VLAN operations.
- SME TCP/IP, PPPoE and cable modems.
- Strong communication and multitasking abilities.
- Willingness to participate in an on-call rotation and pass background checks.
Responsibilities
- Provision and maintain Summit services and infrastructure.
- Provide Tier 3 troubleshooting for network issues.
- Review service orders and perform root cause analysis.
- Monitor data circuits and ensure alarms are active.
- Coordinate with other departments to resolve issues timely.
- Create MOPs and RFCs for changes.
- Participate in on-call rotation.
