CME Group Inc. is seeking a Senior Network Operations Engineer in Chicago to join a dynamic, multi-vendor network team.

You will troubleshoot complex issues, drive change with automation, and coordinate with multiple departments while supporting a large financial network infrastructure. The role emphasizes problem analysis of packet captures, security best practices, wireless and data feeds, and collaboration across teams to improve reliability and performance.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent combination of education and related work experience.
• Industry experience in financial services or large-scale networks is a plus.
• Strong routing, switching and multicast troubleshooting knowledge required.

Responsibilities

• Lead in troubleshooting of network issues and coordinate incident response.
• Work on simultaneous changes with emphasis on automation and documentation.
• Analyze packet captures and engage with internal/external customers.
• Participate in operational acceptance testing for new environments.
• Stay current with emerging networking technologies and multi-vendor support.
