Job summary

Truist is seeking an experienced Infrastructure Engineer focused on network observability, packet broker platforms, and data visibility. You will design, engineer, and operate the infrastructure that collects network traffic from physical and virtual observation points and delivers it to internal security, operations, performance, and application-monitoring teams.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Information Systems, or related field.
• 7+ years of experience in infrastructure engineering.
• Advanced knowledge of enterprise infrastructure technologies including cloud, network, database, storage, platform, computing, and middleware.

Responsibilities

• Designs, builds, manages, and implements enterprise infrastructure technology platforms and systems across cloud, network, database, storage, platform, computing, or middleware domains.
• Develops and applies automation, monitoring, and optimization techniques to ensure high availability and performance of infrastructure.
• Troubleshoots and resolves complex technical issues impacting infrastructure performance and reliability.
• Collaborates with cross-functional teams to integrate new technologies and continuously improve infrastructure standards and processes.
• Reviews infrastructure designs, configurations, and procedures to support operational consistency and knowledge sharing.
