Job summary

Truist is seeking an experienced Infrastructure Engineer specializing in network observability, packet broker platforms, and data visibility. You will design, engineer, and operate the infrastructure that collects network traffic from observation points and delivers data to security, operations, and monitoring teams.

Experience with SPAN, TAP, aggregation, filtering, and load balancing in large environments is essential.

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in a related field.
Minimum 7 years of professional experience in infrastructure engineering.
Advanced knowledge of enterprise infrastructure technologies including cloud, network, database, storage, platform, computing, and middleware.

Responsibilities

Designs, builds, manages, and implements enterprise infrastructure platforms across cloud, network, database, storage, platform, computing, or middleware domains.
Develops automation, monitoring, and optimization to ensure high availability and performance.
Manages large infrastructure projects and programs aligned with regulatory requirements.
Collaborates with cross-functional teams to integrate new technologies and improve standards and processes.
Troubleshoots and resolves complex technical issues impacting infrastructure performance.
