Job summary

Truist seeks a Senior Network Automation and Tool Integration Engineer to design end-to-end automation across enterprise network, observability, ITSM, and DevOps platforms. You will connect Python and Ansible workflows with GitLab CI/CD, Ansible Automation Platform, and multiple vendor APIs to build reusable automation services.

Responsibilities include automated provisioning, configuration validation, incident enrichment, and closed-loop remediation for reliable operations.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Information Systems, or related field.
• Minimum of 5 years of professional experience in infrastructure engineering.
• Strong knowledge of enterprise infrastructure technologies including cloud, network, database, storage, platform, computing, and middleware.
• Proficiency in GitLab CI/CD pipeline authoring, including multi-stage pipelines, runners, environments, and security scanning integration.
• Working knowledge of Ansible, SON, YAML and Ansible Automation Platform, including playbook authoring, inventory management, and AAP workflow templates.
• Experience with OPA and policy-as-code patterns in pipeline enforcement contexts.
• Infrastructure-as-code competency in Terraform or equivalent, with deployment in Azure and/or AWS environments.

Responsibilities

• Designs, builds, and implements enterprise infrastructure technology platforms and systems.
• Applies automation, monitoring, and optimization techniques for high availability.
• Manages infrastructure projects and processes with regulatory alignment.
• Collaborates with cross-functional teams to integrate new technologies and improve standards.
• Troubleshoots and resolves complex infrastructure issues and ensures reliability.
• Guides compliance with technology strategies, standards, and governance.
