Job summary

Ardent seeks a Tier 3 Network Lead to support USHMM's wired, wireless, WAN, and cloud-connected infrastructure. The role requires on-site work at the Museum’s Washington, D.C.

locations and entails leading Tier 3 escalation for core networking incidents, with after-hours support as needed. The ideal candidate will have CCNP certification, expert routing/switching knowledge, and hands-on experience with Cisco Nexus/Catalyst, ASR, Aruba Central, and SolarWinds.

Qualifications

• CCNP certification required.
• Proficient in enterprise routing and switching.
• Experience with wired/wireless, WAN, Internet, and cloud connectivity.
• Proficient with SolarWinds and alerting.
• Willingness to participate in 24x7 on-call escalation.

Responsibilities

• Lead LAN/WAN/Internet/Wi-Fi operations and maintenance.
• Configure switches/routers and monitor performance metrics.
• Resolve outages, routing issues, and RF interference.
• Coordinate with ISPs and vendors for outages and changes.
• Maintain network diagrams and documentation.
• Provide Tier 3 escalation and after-hours support.
• Collaborate with security and monitors.
