Job summary

Amazon Data Services, Inc. is seeking a Technical Infrastructure Program Manager (TIPM) to lead end-to-end delivery of network infrastructure changes across Amazon Data Centers in a fast-paced setting.

You will coordinate with network operations, engineering, and PM teams, manage risks, and communicate with senior leadership. The role demands strong program management skills and a working knowledge of networking and data center technologies.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of program management or technical project management experience.
• Bachelor's degree in Information Science, Information Technology, Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or a related field.
• Knowledge of best practices and emerging technologies related to infrastructure (network, data center, hardware, software)
• Experience leading the design, automation, deployment, and support of large-scale infrastructure

Responsibilities

• Program manager to monitor network infrastructure builds health, demand, risks, and corrective action.
• Define requirements and processes with stakeholders across teams.
• Manage dependencies and interfaces between projects and negotiate trade-offs.
• Mentor others and manage multiple cross-organizational projects simultaneously.
• Interact with engineers, technicians, project managers and senior management daily.
• Analyze and visualize data with Redshift, Tableau, QuickSight and other BI tools.
• Drive automation and simplification to unblock innovation in engineering and project management.
