Job summary

Amazon is seeking a Technical Infrastructure Program Manager (TIPM) to lead multi-disciplinary networking projects and end-to-end delivery of network infrastructure changes across Amazon Data Centers.

You will work with network operations, engineering, and external vendors while mitigating risks, communicating with leadership, and delivering projects on compressed timelines in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of program management or technical project management experience.
• 5+ years of data center or network capacity planning or related infra management.
• Bachelor's degree in Information Science, Information Technology, Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or related field.
• Knowledge of best practices and emerging technologies related to infrastructure (network, data center, hardware, software).
• 8+ years of hands-on experience managing complex technology projects.

Responsibilities

• Program manager to monitor network builds health, demand, risks and corrective actions.
• Collaborate with stakeholders to define requirements and processes across orgs.
• Manage dependencies and project interfaces, negotiating trade-offs as needed.
• Mentor others and manage multiple cross-organizational projects concurrently.
• Interact daily with engineers, project managers and senior management.
• Analyze and visualize data using BI tools like Redshift, Tableau and QuickSight.
