Job summary

AEG Worldwide in Los Angeles seeks a Manager to lead Network Infrastructure, deploying and securing venue and enterprise networks across US sites. You will guide network services, firewalls, routing, switching, and wireless platforms, ensuring governance and security standards are met.

On-site event support and flexible hours are required. The role demands 4–6 years in a leadership network role, strong Cisco/Meraki and Palo Alto experience, and the ability to manage a team across multiple venues

Qualifications

• BA/BS Degree (4-year) in Information Technology or related area.
• 4-6 years experience in a network infrastructure leadership role, incl. design and lifecycle management of large-scale multi-site networks.
• Ability to coach and develop staff, prioritize work, and support performance and service ownership.
• Strong relationships with venue tech teams, vendors, information security, and leadership.
• Experience with Cisco/Meraki routing, switching, wireless, security appliances and cloud-managed platforms.
• Experience configuring Palo Alto firewalls, Panorama, policy, logging and governance.
• Deep knowledge of core network technologies (OSI, IPv4/IPv6, VPNs, QoS, MPLS, 802.1x).

Responsibilities

• Line manage US-based network engineers and contractors, ensuring SLAs.
• Provide escalation support for critical incidents, with after-hours response.
• Maintain and secure existing network infrastructure, including vulnerabilities and audit findings.
• Plan, budget, and prioritize network projects with stakeholders.
• Project manage network initiatives across full lifecycle (design to handover).
• Design scalable, secure network solutions aligned with standards.
• Maintain design docs, runbooks, and SOPs for network services.
• Provide input on venue tech, business systems, and security initiatives.
• Keep knowledge up-to-date on network, wireless, security technologies.
• Promote service ownership and continuous improvement in operations.
• Support 24/7 on-call rotation and domestic travel as needed.
• Undertake other duties as required by leadership.
