Collins Aerospace seeks a Network Implementation Engineer & Team Trainer to lead complex network deployments from design to cutover. The role includes mentoring engineers, creating training materials, and guiding escalation responses in a global, service-provider style WAN environment.

The hybrid function emphasizes hands-on engineering, documentation, and knowledge development across the ARINC Global Network while delivering high-impact solutions to international customers.

Qualifications

• Typically requires a degree in Science, Technology, Engineering or Mathematics (STEM) and a minimum of 8 years of prior relevant experience.
• 5+ years of experience configuring Cisco routers and switches in a production WAN.
• Prior experience building router configurations using templates and BGP routing expertise.

Responsabilités

• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to deploy and optimize network solutions.
• Lead multiple high-visibility network implementation projects from design through activation.
• Directly engage with customers and field technicians to manage WAN circuit activations and cutovers.
• Create detailed cutover plans and maintain network documentation and diagrams.
• Mentor and coach junior network engineers, providing guidance on best practices.
