The ideal candidate will possess extensive experience in Cisco Collaboration and Unified technologies and serve as a senior technical leader within the Connectivity organization. This individual will be responsible for the design, implementation, optimization, support, and strategic evolution of the enterprise voice and collaboration environment, including Cisco Unified Communications Manager (CUCM), Cisco Unified Contact Center Express (UCCX), Cisco Unity Connection, SIP-based communications platforms, and related third‑party technologies.
This position requires a highly collaborative professional who can effectively partner with Network Engineering, Cybersecurity, Infrastructure, Cloud, Application Development, Operations Technology (OT), and business stakeholders to deliver reliable, scalable, and secure communication services across the enterprise. The successful candidate will serve as a trusted advisor, providing technical leadership, architectural guidance, and strategic recommendations that align communication platforms with business objectives and enterprise standards.
As a senior member of the engineering team, this individual will participate in architectural reviews, technology evaluations, modernization initiatives, and long‑term roadmap planning. Responsibilities include developing technical designs, performing assessments, driving remediation and standardization efforts, creating and maintaining technical documentation, and leading cross‑functional discussions to visualize and communicate complex concepts. The candidate must be capable of making sound technical decisions, influencing outcomes across multiple teams, and mentoring engineers through knowledge sharing and leadership.
