Job summary

AT&T Global Public Sector seeks a Senior Network Engineer (NWE) to support the TAC2O program, delivering secure, IP-enabled cloud and network solutions for defense intelligence needs. This role involves design, integration, testing, and maintenance of LAN/WAN, VPNs, and firewall controls.

Candidates should have TS/SCI with poly, 6+ years of network engineering, and relevant certifications. The position is in Reston, VA with 40 weekly hours and strong benefits.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree from an accredited institute in an area applicable to this position and six years of relevant experience.
• Experience with installation, configuration, and maintenance of Firewalls.
• Current networking certifications.
• Must presently be 8140 compliant; must be 8140 compliant by date of security indoctrination with CE as needed.
• Understand the operation of network protocols and Firewall packet and proxy filters.

Responsibilities

• Perform network design and engineering support for the TAC2O Program IT architecture; design, implement, and troubleshoot LAN/WAN, VPNs, and firewall rules.
• Build network topologies to deliver content from providers to users.
• Provide engineering designs, plans for installation, integration, testing, upgrade, and maintenance of the network environment.
• Prepare network engineering documentation from requirements through to deployment and status reporting.
• Maintain technical manuals and SOPs; develop/implement network paths for remote data sources.
