Job summary

TENICA and Associates LLC in Virginia seeks an IT Network Engineer to lead a team and guide the development of network designs and architecture. The role focuses on ensuring solutions align with strategic goals and security requirements.

Applicants should have TS/SCI with FULL SCOPE POLY, strong knowledge of LAN/WAN, routing, switching, and security practices, and a BS degree. This is an on-site position based in Chantilly/Herndon area with minimal travel.

Qualifications

Experience with primary network topologies, LANs, WANs.
Familiarity with router/switch administration, ethernet and security practices.
Experience designing, configuring, integrating, and troubleshooting network infrastructure.
TS/SCI with FULL SCOPE POLY clearance required.

Responsibilities

Analyze, design and develop a comprehensive strategy and implementation plan with current, transitional and future state architecture viewpoints.
Ensure compatibility with existing solutions, infrastructure, services and strategic requirements.
Work closely with IT leadership to ensure architectural alignment with organizational goals and requirements.
Define technical solutions analyzing the viability of the solution to meet the timeline, budget and quality.
Lead a team for development of network designs and architecture.
