Job summary

Staffed4U is seeking an Expert Network Engineer to join a government-focused team in Herndon, VA. The role requires designing, integrating, deploying, and supporting secure enterprise and field-based communications systems across LAN, MAN, WAN, voice, video, RF, satellite, cellular, and related technologies.

The ideal candidate will bring hands-on Cisco routing/switching, secure networking, RF communications, and complex voice/data network design experience within highly secure environments.

Qualifications

9+ years of experience in network engineering or related field.
Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or related discipline.
Active TS/SCI with Full Scope Polygraph.
Strong knowledge of Cisco routing and switching.

Responsibilities

Design and optimize complex enterprise network topologies.
Translate requirements into LAN/WAN/voice/video designs.
Develop network architectures with INFOSEC/COMSEC in mind.
Plan installations, migrations, and cutovers.
Provide Tier III/IV Operations & Maintenance support.
Support enterprise and field deployments of LAN/WAN.
