Job summary

Staffed4U seeks a Network Engineer – Level 3 to design, implement, troubleshoot, and support secure, high‑performance enterprise networks in multi‑platform environments. You will lead technical projects and mentor junior engineers while ensuring alignment with security policies.

The ideal candidate has deep hands-on experience with Cisco routers/switches/firewalls, VPNs, IDS/IPS, and backbone networks, plus the ability to deliver reliable network operations in secure facilities.

Qualifications

• 10+ years of experience in network design, including routing, switching and network security.
• Experience installing and configuring Cisco enterprise networking equipment.
• Strong experience with Cisco routing, switching, firewalls, VPN and IDS/IPS.
• Experience designing and implementing enterprise-scale network architectures.
• Experience developing and implementing network security requirements and policies.
• Ability to diagnose and resolve complex network performance and connectivity issues.
• Experience providing technical leadership to small engineering teams.
• Strong understanding of secure network operations and configuration management.
• Cisco Certified Network Associate (CCNA) certification required.

Responsibilities

• Plan, design, develop, implement, and support secure enterprise network environments.
• Install and configure Cisco 7600 Series routers and Cisco 6500 Series switches.
• Maintain, monitor, troubleshoot, diagnose, and resolve issues involving Cisco ASA firewalls, IDS/IPS, VPNs, and switches.
• Identify network performance limits and improve availability, reliability, and performance.
• Develop network security requirements and translate into device configurations.
• Design and implement enterprise ISP backbone networks.
• Lead small technical teams and provide direction for network operations.
• Maintain network documentation, configuration standards, and procedures.
