Job summary

Convirgence is seeking a skilled network engineer to work in Herndon, Virginia, providing technical expertise to the U.S. Government. The ideal candidate will have over 8 years of experience in network engineering, including designing LAN and WAN systems and knowledge of TCP/IP networking and VPN technologies.

This role requires strong written and oral communication skills, as well as the ability to convey technical information clearly to non-technical personnel. Candidates must possess a current Active TS/SCI with Full Scope Poly clearance.

Qualifications

• 8+ years of relevant experience in network engineering.
• Experience with designing communications systems is preferred.
• Understanding of Customer security standards and approval process.

Responsibilities

• Design and implement Local and Wide Area Networks (LAN/WAN).
• Convey technical designs to non-technical audiences and provide briefings.
• Author documents to support customer missions.
