Job summary

Abile Group, LLC is seeking a Senior Network Engineer in Quantico, Virginia, to provide technical engineering support for a Federal Government Client. The ideal candidate will work on a complex network infrastructure, troubleshooting issues and providing design support for new solutions.

This position requires at least six years of experience and an Active Top Secret Clearance with the ability to obtain SCI. Candidates should be familiar with Cisco platforms and routing protocols, as well as network design principles.

Qualifications

• Minimum of six years of experience designing, developing, and implementing network solutions.
• Active Top Secret Clearance, with the ability to obtain SCI.
• Experience with SD-WAN implementation and operations.

Responsibilities

• Gathers user network requirements and creates necessary technical documentation.
• Installs, maintains and evaluates network systems and communications systems.
• Troubleshoots and resolves complex network issues.

Skills

Troubleshooting complex LAN issues

Experience with Cisco routing platforms (ASRs)

Knowledge of routing protocols (BGP, EIGRP)

Knowledge of Layer 2 technologies (STP, VLANs)

Tier 3 support and issue resolution

Network design and traffic engineering

Senior-level engineering support

Experience with TACLANE systems

Education

BA/BS in relevant field + 6 years experience

Tools

Cisco Certified Network Associate (CCNA)
