Job summary

Peraton is seeking a Network Engineer to join our dynamic team in the Annapolis Junction MD area, delivering end-to-end network services across architecture, engineering, deployment, and security for a global enterprise.

Ideal candidates hold a TS/SCI clearance with polygraph, 10+ years of IT experience (15 with a degree substitution), and hands-on expertise with routers, firewalls, Cisco IOS/Junos, and IP networking across LAN/WAN.

Qualifications

Minimum of 10 years of IT-related experience with a Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Engineering Science, or related discipline is required. 15 years total of IT related experience may be substituted for a Bachelor's degree.
Active DOD 8570 IAT Level II certification or higher is required (i.e. Security+).
Experience in at least two of the following areas: Network troubleshooting; Routers/Switches; Cisco IOS/Junos OS; Firewalls; LAN/WAN/CAN; Hubs/Bridges/Gateways; Network packet investigation/analysis tools; Database tools.
Experience providing highly technical and specialized guidance and solutions to complex IT problems.
Ability to perform elaborate analyses and studies and prepare reports and give presentations.
Active TS/SCI security clearance with a current polygraph is required.
Experience performing DDI (DNS, DHCP, IPAM) for critical network infrastructure services.
Experience supporting MultiCloud Fabric (MCF) infrastructure.
Cloud engineering and modernization experience.
