Job summary

Peraton is seeking an experienced Network Engineer in Annapolis Junction, MD, to provide design and upgrade efforts for network infrastructure across a large-scale IT program. The ideal candidate will have a minimum of 8 years' experience, a BS/BA degree, and must hold a TS/SCI clearance.

Qualifications

• Minimum 8 years with BS/BA; 6 years with MS/MA; 3 years with PhD.
• TS/SCI level clearance required.
• Information Assurance Certifications consistent with 8570 IAT Level III.
• 3 years of Cisco experience.
• Proven experience designing and troubleshooting networks.

Responsibilities

• Review and analyze existing network architecture.
• Evaluate and report on new communications technologies.
• Conduct cost/benefit analysis for hardware and software selection.
• Monitor network statistics for optimum performance.
