Blue Origin is seeking a seasoned Senior Network Engineer to join the In‑Space‑Systems ground systems group and help design, build, and maintain the flight network for mission operations across multiple sites. You will implement automation frameworks, scripting, and modern DevOps practices to support spaceflight infrastructure.

The role requires a Top Secret/SCI clearance, strong network design skills, and collaboration with a cross‑functional team to deliver reliable, safe spaceflight systems

Qualifications

• BS or higher in computer engineering, CS, or related field.
• 8+ years designing and deploying scalable network infrastructure.
• Experience with multi-vendor devices and configurations.
• Strong knowledge of TCP/IP, IPv6, MPLS, BGP/OSPF/IS-IS, DNS/NTP.
• Proficiency in Python, Go, Rust, or C++.
• Must possess and maintain Top Secret/SCI clearance.

Responsibilities

• Establish standardized network design practices across In‑Space‑Systems sites and design scalable network solutions that support spaceflight operations.
• Design, develop, and maintain automation frameworks and tools to automate network design, deployment, and operational management processes across multi‑vendor, multi‑site network environment.
• Develop, secure, and maintain network equipment to support mission operations.
• Proactively monitor network performance and health dashboards; triage and resolve issues with full ownership through resolution, including root cause analysis.
• Support network capacity planning and lifecycle management across enterprise and industrial environments.
