Blue Origin is seeking a Senior Network Engineer to design, build, and maintain the flight network for the Blue Ring (I-SS) Mission Operations Center. You will work across multiple sites, applying automation and DevOps practices to deliver reliable spaceflight networks.

You will lead development and deployment of scalable network infrastructures, support capacity planning, and ensure secure operations under high-availability requirements. A Top Secret/SCI clearance is required for this role.

Qualifications

• BS/BA in computer engineering, electrical engineering, CS, or equivalent experience.
• 8+ years of experience architecting, deploying scalable network infrastructure.
• Experience installing, configuring, and monitoring network devices.
• Managing configurations in multi-vendor environments.
• Understanding TCP/IP, IPv4/IPv6, MPLS, BGP/OSPF/IS-IS, DHCP/DNS/NTP.
• Coding in Python/Go/Rust/C++ or similar.
• Strong communication and teamwork; Top Secret/SCI clearance.

Responsibilities

• Establish standardized network design practices across sites.
• Design, develop and maintain automation frameworks for network deployment and ops.
• Develop, secure, and maintain network equipment for mission operations.
• Monitor performance and perform root-cause analysis with ownership through resolution.
• Support capacity planning and lifecycle management across environments.
