Job summary

LaunchTech is seeking a Senior Network Engineer for Operations and Maintenance to support the MDA on the IRES contract. Work will be performed in an in-office setting at Schriever SFB, CO or Redstone Arsenal, AL, with a standard 8-hour day and on-call rotation for after-hours troubleshooting.

Ideal candidate brings 10+ years of IT/network experience, DoD 8570 Level II, a DoD Secret clearance, and strong skills in routing, switching, VPN/VRF, SD-WAN, and related Cisco/Palo Alto hardware.

Qualifications

• 10+ years of general full-time work experience (may be reduced with advanced education).
• 5+ years of directly related network engineering experience.
• 6+ months in management or leadership role.
• Experience with Internet Protocols (DNS, HTTP, SMTP, SSL) and multiple network types (LAN, WAN, VxLAN, SDN).
• Active DoW 8570 IAG Level II certification and DoW Secret Security Clearance.

Responsibilities

• Provide Tier III support for MDA Enterprise.
• Participate in Battle Rhythms and maintenance checks for network services.
• Generate status reports and analyze network anomalies; develop engineering red lines.
• Serve as O&M expert on outage/troubleshooting bridge calls.
• Respond to, troubleshoot, and close Remedy ITSM tickets and Work Orders.
• Participate in an on-call rotation for after-hours network support.
