Job summary

Blue Mantis is seeking a Senior Network Engineer and Team Lead to design, implement, and oversee a large, multi-vendor network environment. This role combines hands-on engineering with leadership of a 4–6-person team and requires expertise with Cisco/Nexus, Palo Alto, Check Point firewalls, Meraki, F5 load balancers, and cloud/network monitoring.

You will drive incident management, conduct RCA, orchestrate daily scrums, and mentor engineers to improve performance and uptime while coordinating

Qualifications

• Minimum 8–12 years of experience in network engineering.
• 2–3 years in a leadership or team lead capacity.
• Experience with Cisco and Nexus switches, VLANs, trunking, STP, and Layer 3 routing (BGP/OSPF/EIGRP).
• Hands-on with Palo Alto and Check Point firewalls, policy config, HA and optimization.
• Experience with Meraki, cloud networking, load balancers (F5), and monitoring tools (SolarWinds).

Responsibilities

• Lead and mentor a team of 4–6 senior network engineers.
• Lead daily scrum calls and align priorities.
• Manage escalations and ensure timely incident resolution.
• Perform RCA and implement preventive measures.
