Blue Mantis is seeking a Network Security Engineer for a 100% remote role in the South East US. You will design, deploy, and support security-focused networks, working closely with the Senior Network Engineer to implement changes that improve stability and performance.

The ideal candidate has 5+ years of hands-on networking experience, CCNA or higher, and familiarity with Cisco, Fortinet, Palo Alto, and cloud platforms. On-call rotation and customer-facing engagement are required.

Formación

• 5+ years in deployment, configuration and design of networking technologies.
• CCNA or equivalent knowledge.
• Ability to work on-call rotations.
• Bachelor's or higher degree or equivalent training.

Responsabilidades

• Participate in daily network, firewall, and operational support.
• Troubleshoot network issues and update topologies for stability.
• Provide analysis and documentation during events and incidents.
• Stay current with technologies and obtain relevant certifications.
• Lead problem solving with stakeholders and report to management.
• Provide regular updates to management.
