Job summary

Dexian Government Solutions is seeking a Network Engineer III at DLIFLC in Monterey, CA to monitor, optimize, and secure the network infrastructure. The role requires hands-on experience with routing, switching, wireless, and security devices across multiple vendors.

The position demands project management skills, after-hours support, and the ability to translate technical details for leadership, with a focus on delivering reliable network services for the organization.

Qualifications

• AA/AS degree in a related discipline or three years of related experience.
• Experience deploying and administering routing, switching, wireless, firewall technologies, load balancing, and protocols.
• Experience with Ruckus/Brocade, Extreme Networks, Aruba devices and OS, Palo Alto NGFW/Panorama, VMware NSX-T, and Ciena DWDM.

Responsibilities

• Monitor and analyze all network traffic.
• Generate reports and diagrams; propose optimization solutions.
• Architect and develop deployment and test plans for wired and wireless solutions.
• Collaborate with other departments for integrated solutions.
• Translate complex technical terms for non-technical stakeholders.
• Interface with customers and peers on best practices.
• Perform after-hours maintenance Window.
• Ability to lift and deploy devices up to 30 lbs.
