Job summary

Dexian Government Solutions seeks a Network Engineer III to monitor wired and wireless networks, optimize performance, and manage IT projects. You will implement network security controls and perform advanced troubleshooting across the infrastructure.

The role requires an AA/AS degree or 3+ years’ related experience, hands-on work with routing/switching, firewalls, NSX-T, Aruba/Palo Alto, and DWDM systems, plus experience with monitoring/reporting tools.

Qualifications

• Educational requirements include an AA/AS Degree or three years of related experience.
• Experience with routing, switching, wireless, firewall technologies, load balancing, and protocols.
• Experience with Ruckus/Brocade, Extreme Networks, Aruba devices/OS, Aruba ClearPass, Palo Alto networks, NSX-T, Ciena DWDM.
• Experience with multiple monitoring systems and reporting.

Responsibilities

• Monitor and analyze all network traffic.
• Generate reports and diagrams with Visio; propose optimization solutions.
• Architect deployment/test plans for wired and wireless network solutions.
• Coordinate with departments for integrated solutions.
• Translate complex tech terms for higher level stakeholders.
• Assist customers and peers with best practices.
• Perform after-hours maintenance windows.
• Able to lift and deploy devices up to 30 lbs.
