Job summary

Dexian Government Solutions in Monterey, CA is seeking a Network Engineer responsible for monitoring, optimizing, testing, and securing the organization’s wired and wireless networks. You will plan deployment and test strategies, generate reports, and interface with multiple teams to deliver integrated solutions.

The role requires troubleshooting expertise, after-hours support, and the ability to communicate complex terms to leadership. Salary targets are $95K-$105K with comprehensive benefits.

Qualifications

• AA/AS degree in a related discipline or 3 years of related experience.
• Experience deploying and administering routing, switching, wireless, firewall technologies.
• Experience with Ruckus/Brocade, Extreme Networks, Aruba devices and operating systems.
• Experience with Aruba ClearPass, Palo Alto networks, VMware NSX-T, and Ciena DWDM.
• Ability to interface with monitoring systems and generate reports.

Responsibilities

• Monitor and analyze all network traffic and performance.
• Generate reports and diagrams; propose network optimization solutions.
• Architect deployment/test plans for wired/wireless solutions.
• Collaborate with departments for integrated solutions.
• Present complex terms to leadership; assist customers and peers.
