Job summary

Motion Recruitment is seeking a highly skilled Network Security Engineer II to join a dynamic team focused on modernizing enterprise firewall and network security services. The role involves designing and supporting security environments, managing firewall platforms, and building automation infrastructures.

Ideal candidates will have over 5 years of experience in Network Security Engineering, strong knowledge of various networking protocols, and hands-on experience with cloud security. A contract duration of 12+ months is expected with potential for extension.

Qualifications

• 5+ years in Network Security Engineering/Operations.
• Strong understanding of TCP/IP, VPNs, IDS/IPS, NAT, ACLs, DNS, routing/switching.
• Hands-on experience with FortiManager and FortiAnalyzer preferred.

Responsibilities

• Design, implement, and support enterprise firewall environments.
• Manage Fortinet, Cisco, and Juniper firewall platforms.
• Build infrastructure automation using Ansible, Terraform, Python, REST APIs.
• Support cloud-based virtual firewalls in AWS and Azure.
• Troubleshoot network/security incidents using FortiAnalyzer and Splunk.
• Participate in global operations and on-call support.
• Collaborate with cybersecurity, cloud, and infrastructure teams.

Contract: 12+ Months with potential for Extension/Full-Time Conversion

Key Skills Required

• Automation: Ansible, Terraform, Python

Responsibilities

• Design, implement, and support enterprise firewall environments
• Manage Fortinet, Cisco, and Juniper firewall platforms
• Build infrastructure automation using Ansible, Terraform, Python, REST APIs, Jenkins, GitHub, YAML, and Jinja2
• Support cloud-based virtual firewalls in AWS and Azure
• Troubleshoot network/security incidents using FortiAnalyzer and Splunk
• Participate in global operations and on-call support
• Collaborate with cybersecurity, cloud, and infrastructure teams

Required Experience

• 5+ years in Network Security Engineering/Operations
• Strong understanding of TCP/IP, VPNs, IDS/IPS, NAT, ACLs, DNS, routing/switching
• Hands‑on experience with FortiManager and FortiAnalyzer preferred

Nice to Have

• Oil & Gas industry experience strongly preferred
• SD-WAN exposure
