Job summary

OneOncology’s IT Operations team keeps the infrastructure, identity, and management platform running across practices. The Network Engineer II leads architecture across switching, routing, wireless, and voice systems, acting as Tier 3 escalation and standards owner.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience required.
• 8–10 years progressive network engineering experience.
• Experience with VoIP/UCaaS or contact center solutions.

Responsibilities

• Own network architecture and standards across switching, routing, wireless, and firewalls.
• Lead design reviews for practice-side network changes and net-new implementations.
• Act as Tier 3 escalation authority for major network incidents.
• Drive tool and vendor evaluations for network platforms.
• Mentor Network Engineers and Administrators on architecture and standards.
• Represent the network domain in security reviews, audits, and compliance work.
• Contribute to standards evolution and the IT Standards Matrix.
• Partner with Projects on complex network deliveries and clean hand-offs.
• Coordinate with Systems Engineering on integration points between network and systems.
• Manage strategic ISP and telecom vendor relationships.
• Participate in on‑call rotation.
• Occasional travel to practice sites, if needed.
