Job summary

OneOncology is seeking a Network Engineer II for a remote role with occasional travel to practice sites. You will own the network architecture across switching, routing, wireless, and security, while serving as Tier 3 escalation authority for critical incidents.

The role requires 8–10 years of experience, a preferred bachelor’s degree, and familiarity with VoIP/UCaaS. Aruba, Palo Alto, Fortinet experience are a plus, with MSP/healthcare exposure welcomed.

Qualifications

• 8–10 years of progressive network engineering experience.
• Bachelor's degree preferred; equivalent experience considered.
• Experience with voice/telephony platforms (VoIP, SIP trunking, UCaaS, contact center).

Responsibilities

• Own network architecture and standards across switching, routing, wireless, firewalls, and voice infrastructure.
• Lead design reviews for changes and new implementations.
• Act as Tier 3 escalation authority for major network incidents.
• Coordinate with ISP and telecom vendors; mentor junior staff.
• Participate in on-call rotation and travel to practice sites as needed.
