Job summary

XTIUM is seeking a seasoned Network Engineer to join our remote-ready team in the United States. You will handle escalation for critical incidents, diagnose complex network issues, and drive resolutions while mentoring peers and documenting progress in ServiceNow.

Ideal candidates have 5+ years in technical networks, CCNP or equivalent certifications, and a proven track record in Managed Services. Strong written and verbal communication is essential for success.

Qualifications

• 5+ years in a technical environment as a Network Engineer.
• Experience in Managed Services environments.
• CCNP or equivalent certifications required; multiple CCNPs preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide issue escalation support for NOC and Associate Network Engineers for critical incidents.
• Diagnose issues, drive to resolution, identify root cause; escalate to Tier 3 as needed.
• Complete service requests, network implementations and migrations.
• Identify opportunities for Continual Service Improvement (CSI) to improve security, efficiency and cost.
• Document issues and resolutions in ServiceNow with current status.
• Lead resolution of highly complex issues escalated by Network Engineering.
• Document and follow standard processes and procedures including change management and escalation.
• Mentor NOC and junior engineers; provide on-call support for Tier 2 issues.
