Job summary

Turnberry Solutions is seeking a Senior Network Engineer to join the Digital Modernization practice in a hybrid role based in West Des Moines, IA. The position emphasizes leadership in developing a next-generation network peering infrastructure and setting architectural standards for network/telephony services.

You will balance traditional networking with SDN and cloud capabilities, guiding design decisions and providing thought leadership.

Qualifications

10+ years of experience in networking.
Experience with BGP, OSPF, MPLS, Segment Routing, VoIP and video topologies.
Knowledge of Cisco routers and switches.
Experience implementing network cybersecurity capabilities.

Responsibilities

Lead technical efforts in developing and implementing a next-generation network peering infrastructure.
Provide architectural design standards for new network/telephony services and for network designs.
Balance traditional networking with software-defined networking and cloud capabilities to provide robust, cost-effective services.
Research and coordinate network hardware, software and monitoring tool implementations; mentor junior engineers.
