Our technology team is modernizing core infrastructure to improve reliability, security, and performance across our branches and offices.
Role Overview
We’re looking for a Network Engineer to own and modernize our enterprise LAN/WAN and voice environment. You’ll design, implement, and support network and perimeter security solutions, serve as an escalation point for complex issues, and help drive initiatives around SD-WAN, SASE, and automation.
What You’ll Do
- Design, implement, and support enterprise LAN/WAN infrastructure across branches, data centers, and offices.
- Manage and optimize routing, switching, and network services (TCP/IP, VLANs, STP, OSPF, BGP, QoS).
- Support and enhance our SD-WAN/SASE environment (Cato Networks) and perimeter security solutions.
- Administer and support Microsoft Teams Phone and related voice/network integrations.
- Act as an escalation point for complex network and voice incidents, including root cause analysis and long-term fixes.
- Lead and contribute to network architecture improvements, capacity planning, and disaster recovery planning.
- Develop and maintain network documentation, diagrams, standards, and runbooks.
- Partner with security, infrastructure, and application teams on cross-functional projects and change management.
- Drive network automation initiatives using tools like Ansible and PowerShell to reduce manual tasks and improve consistency.
Must-Have Qualifications
- 5+ years of hands‑on Network Engineering experience in an enterprise environment.
- Strong knowledge of TCP/IP, VLANs, STP, OSPF, BGP, QoS, routing, and switching.
- Proven experience supporting and troubleshooting complex LAN/WAN infrastructure.
- Experience with firewalls, VPNs, and network security concepts.
- Comfort serving as an escalation point and owning issues through resolution.
- Solid documentation, communication, and cross‑team collaboration skills.
Nice-to-Have Experience
- Arista switching or similar enterprise switching platforms.
- Cato Networks SD-WAN/SASE or other SD‑WAN technologies (VeloCloud, Fortinet, Meraki, Silver Peak, etc.).
- Microsoft Teams Phone or other enterprise voice/UC platforms (Cisco, Avaya, Zoom Phone).
- Ansible and/or PowerShell for infrastructure automation.
- Experience working in banking, financial services, or other regulated environments.
- Exposure to APIs, REST/JSON, and infrastructure‑as‑code workflows.
Why This Role
- Ownership: Direct influence on the design, performance, and security of a multi‑site enterprise network instead of just working tickets.
- Stability and benefits: Join a stable financial institution with great benefits and a long‑term view on employees and technology investments.
- Growth: Build deeper skills in SD‑WAN/SASE, voice, and automation while working closely with experienced infrastructure and security teams.
