Job summary

Peraton seeks an experienced Network Engineer to join our national intelligence program in Northern Virginia, delivering engineering, development, deployment, operations, upgrades, and sustainment of network products and services to support global missions.

The candidate will have demonstrated expertise in load balancing, traffic management, and secure, scalable network architectures across Cisco and Linux environments.

Qualifications

• Active TS/SCI clearance with ability to obtain a Poly.
• BS/BA with 4+ years or MS/MA with 6+ years in relevant field.
• Experience designing, architecting, and supporting Cisco/Linux routing systems.
• Certifications: Security+, IATT Level II, vendor-specific certs.

Responsibilities

• Design, plan and implement network load balancing and traffic management.
• Monitor data flows and mitigate performance and security threats.
• Protect data integrity and ensure regulatory compliance.
• Provide network architecture specs and detailed schematics.
• Analyze costs and select hardware/software for scalable solutions.
• Test network designs and verify configurations across devices.
