Job summary

Compensation

Base Salary $150,000 - $220,000 + 50% additional employer‑funded compensation.

Total package value up to $330,000.

The Opportunity

We're supporting a highly respected technology organization delivering critical solutions across the US Intelligence and National Security community.

As part of a senior‑level networking team, you'll be responsible for designing, implementing and supporting highly secure, mission‑essential network infrastructure supporting multiple intelligence programs. The environment demands exceptional levels of availability, fault tolerance and performance, providing the opportunity to work on technically challenging projects that have a direct operational impact.

This is not a network operations role. You'll be involved in architecture, engineering, implementation and ongoing enhancement of complex networking environments across data centre, transport and enterprise infrastructure layers.

Responsibilities

• Designing and implementing secure enterprise network solutions
• Supporting large‑scale mission‑critical network infrastructure
• Engineering and maintaining routing, switching and transport environments
• Troubleshooting complex network performance and connectivity issues
• Supporting data centre and wide‑area network environments
• Working closely with engineering teams and stakeholders to develop technical solutions
• Contributing to network architecture, design reviews and infrastructure improvements
• Providing technical leadership within your area of expertise

Qualifications

• 7+ years of network engineering experience
• Strong experience with Juniper networking technologies preferred
• Cisco networking experience also considered
• Experience designing, implementing and maintaining enterprise networks
• Strong knowledge of TCP/IP networking and associated protocols
• Experience with routing protocols including OSPF, EIGRP and BGP
• Experience with LAN, WAN and network security technologies
• Experience with firewalls, ACLs and secure network architectures
• Excellent troubleshooting and problem‑solving skills
• Strong communication skills and ability to work within highly collaborative engineering teams

Desirable Experience

• Juniper certifications (JNCIA, JNCIS, JNCIP, JNCIE)
• Cisco certifications (CCNA, CCNP)
• EVPN, VXLAN or MPLS environments
• Multicast networking
• VLANs, trunking and spanning tree
• Bash, Python or other scripting languages
• Linux or BSD administration experience
• Experience presenting technical solutions to customers and stakeholders
• Willingness to travel domestically and internationally when required
