Job summary

Blink Health is seeking a Senior Network Engineer II to own and operate our hybrid network spanning offices, distributed sites, and AWS. You’ll manage Meraki, Palo Alto gear, site connectivity, and Terraform‑driven infrastructure as code, while also supporting cloud networking and on‑prem to cloud integrations.

You will troubleshoot complex issues, contribute to monitoring or incident response, and collaborate with engineering on scalable, secure network solutions across the company’s rapidly

Qualifications

• 8+ years of progressively senior network engineering experience.
• Hands‑on with enterprise wireless and switching platforms, preferably Meraki.
• Expert‑level knowledge of BGP, OSPF, VLANs, DNS, SNMP, DHCP.
• Strong incident ownership from detection through root cause and long‑term fix.
• Linux fundamentals and shell proficiency for networking tasks.
• Proficient in network automation and scripting (e.g., Terraform, Python).

Responsibilities

• Manage and maintain office, site, and distributed network infrastructure (Meraki, Palo Alto, Starlink, VPN).
• Design and deploy site networks with VLANs, wireless coverage, and secure remote connectivity.
• Tune wireless deployments with RF planning and channel optimization.
• Configure, harden, and manage Palo Alto firewalls and VPNs (NAT, IPSec).
• Troubleshoot complex Layer 1–7 issues using packet captures and diagnostic tools.
• Maintain monitoring with Nagios, Grafana, New Relic, and related tools.
• Own production outages from detection through root cause analysis and post‑incident improvements.
• Collaborate with engineering on network design for AWS and Kubernetes‑based services.
