Job summary

SYSO Technologies is seeking a Network Engineer to own and evolve our hybrid cloud infrastructure for a real-time energy management platform. You will manage on-premises networking, AWS connectivity, and the critical links between them, documenting current topology and leading data center network deployment for 24/7 operations.

The role requires 5–10 years of network engineering experience, strong fundamentals in IP, VLANs, BGP/OSPF, and hands-on AWS networking with Terraform.

Qualifications

• 5–10 years of professional network engineering experience.
• Deep expertise in IP addressing, subnetting, VLANs, DNS, DHCP, IPSec VPNs, BGP, and OSPF.
• Hands-on AWS networking and Terraform for automation.
• Experience with enterprise routers, switches, firewalls, and access points in HA environments.
• Proficient in network monitoring/observability tools such as Datadog, CloudWatch, or Grafana.

Responsibilities

• Design and implement scalable network patterns across on‑premises and AWS environments (VPC design, security groups, routing).
• Maintain and upgrade enterprise networking gear with high availability; troubleshoot production issues with minimal downtime.
• Create comprehensive network topology documentation and perform security hardening and segmentation.
• Lead network infrastructure projects and coordinate with external consultants and clients.
